An awesome breakfast! Fried eggs, Irish bangers, tomato slices, & a couple slices of my Rustic White Bread. Perfection! :-)
Rustic White Bread from Cooking Light, Jan ‘03
I looooove making bread! Hardly ever get to make it, though, since it’s so time-consuming. :-( It’s probably the kneading process, so similar to massage. This wasn’t a bad recipe. Not crusty on the outside, but still delicious. It’s hard to go wrong with freshly baked homemade bread…unless you totally screw it up, of course.

Chicken with Chile and Lime from America’s Test Kitchen: Fast and Fresh Recipe Card Collection
Yummy, yummy, yummy! Spicy, bright, & rich. I wasn’t sure how this recipe would be before I made it, but it was so easy and delicious. The sauce was to die for, but what else would you expect when it’s finished with butter. I love amazing sauces and how they can transform a so-so dish into something spectacular.
Italian Chili from Cuisine at Home: Soups, Stews, & Chilies.
This is my new favorite chili! What makes this chili different from the average is the addition of Italian sausage, pepperoni, red wine, balsamic vinegar, cannellini beans, and Italian seasoning. The sausage and pepperoni are used in place of ground beef. It exploded with flavor!
Grilled Steak Sandwich with Spinach, Cucumbers, and Green Goddess Spread and Fruit Cocktail with Lime-Mint Syrup all from Cuisine at Home, Aug ‘10.
This was another amazing meal! The sandwich was very messy to eat, but so worth it. It was bursting with flavor! The fruit cocktail was a very nice, bright accompaniment to the richness of the sandwich. Unforgettable.
Beef with Sugar Snap Peas from Cooking Light, Apr ‘06
